WordPress Meetup + Boilerplate
Join us for an evening of WordPress. We’ll cover the latest in WordPress news, share how we are using WordPress, and learn about HTML5 Boilerplate.

Introduction to HTML5 Boilerplate 2.0
Boilerplate is a set of standardized scripts, html code, and css stylesheets to help you create fast, lean, and cross-browser compatible layouts and themes. Why learn the quirks and annoyances of every browser when you don’t have to? Boilerplate will take care of things for you, along with web server performance optimizing, mobile browsing enhancements, and a ton more. Boilerplate is a ready-made set of distilled best-practices that will help you work smarter and faster and spend less time fixing stuff for crusty browsers. This half-hour talk will give you a quick run-through of HTML5 Boilerplate’s main features, and show you how to start integrating it into your own themes.
